Shoojit Sircar directs the film. It is based in freedom fighter Sardar Udham Singh that assassinated Michael O'Dwyer, in 1940. He killed the British India's former Lieutenant Governor, Punjab to avenge 1919's brutal Jallianwala Bagh Massacre.
The Dussehra Weekend release of 'Sardar Udham’ is planned. The stream will be available on Amazon Prime Video, October 16.
